Looking to get a little hands-on with 3D printing? Perhaps learn how to go about doing so, then proceeding to print something? Here at the School in Filament & Chips, we have fun and engaging hands-on experiences that allow you to explore the wonderful world of making with 3D printing!
In the School, we pair each participant with a computer and a 3D printer. You will be able to get hands-on experience with the printer right by your side as you see digital ideas realised in tangible physical form.
A Taste of 3D Printing
Beginner Workshop
This is out most accessible workshop, where you embark into the world of 3D printing! Beginner friendly and absolutely no pre-requisite knowledge required except for the skills of using a computer.
No prior experience required!
Here, we let you have a taste and whet your appetite about 3D printing. Focusing on the hands-on experience, you will learn the basics, work-flow and concepts of this incredible technology first, after which we will jump right into your first print! There are at least two prints that we'll do during the class - and yes, of course you can take them home with you!
No need to bring anything! Just bring yourself!
We have designed this workshop to be concise, to equip you with the basics to get you started and proceed to get right into the fun stuff, the doing. At just 2 hours, you won't have to take a huge block of your time to get your feet wet trying 3D printing out. Also, you don't need to bring anything to attend, just bring yourself, a little curiosity, a dash of excitement and you're all set!
